OMFG... this has been asked at least 100 times. Truth is they will barely keep up with the air volume needed on a 4ltr i6. Not to mention that they are not variable speed motors. They are either turned on and spinning at 22 000 rpm or turned off and free wheeling in your air intake pipe. They are good for Ricing your car up but your better spending the money on a cam for the same dosh.

That particular link has to be the most lame gizmo of them than the rest. It doesnt state what psi its making or the electrical load or anything!!

You can get ones that "work" but even then they only make up to 1 psi of boost, just enough not to be suffocating the intake, and these are around $1000. Money better spent elswhere......

i cant believe there is another thread on this crap...

why not just mount a computer fan inside your intake... it would do the same job...

maybe give boost to a lawn mower but thats about it. save your 100 bucks and go get a lapdance instead. you will enjoy it more

If you want a blower for your car for under $100, go and buy a leaf blower, as they will actually add some puff.

There's just no such thing as cheap power. Same goes for $20 ebay chips too.

Was actually thinking about putting a twin system on my Dad's Stationary Motor on the pump up at our Marina in the Riverland

I love the summary at the end. and the fact you would need about 1000 amps to effectively power a proper electric supercharger.
