howdy guys after searching the net for water to air intercooler setups, i came across these, called thermal hard pipes, they could be used with a air to air intercooler setup as well, they come in different sizes etc, what sort of effect in temp loss would you think they would produces. ... re_Code=HP

Surely in order to cool the air it would have to restrict the air inorder to have it there long enough too cool - otherwise wouldn't the air just blow straight through it too quick to actually cause a temperature drop?
also, since it runs on the cars cooling system and not a seperate water system, it can only ever cool the air to the same temperature as the radiator - which might not actually be that cold.
just two thought i'm wondering about after looking at it...
