things are moving fast because they absolutely have too.. Some more bits arrived today, got some indy blue 1600cc injectors and a second 044 pump, as im going to be running it on E85, and those in the know, will know you need a lot more of this stuff than you do unleaded. Also, im getting the turbosmart fpr1200 as my current t/s street reg wont flow enough to get the base pressure where i want it when using 2x 044's..
Im going upto -6 3/8 fuel hoses, as i had my boss whos an engineer run the fluid flow figures for the 5/16, turns out that at 8l/min at 65psi ill be seeing 8psi drop through the fuel hose from fluid friction... 3/8 is absolutely necessary Also, I made the 4inch dump pipe, and at this point, i realised it is quite possible to fit 4in all the way along (so it appears, ill let you know once ive completed this task) So i had to scrap all the 3.5in pipe and mandrels i had bought, and get 4in instead.. Talk about up-sizing, im not f**k around with the build this time All my turbo, plenum, piping and rocker cover are getting powder coated black this week, get that back thursday.

this is sounding very very promising brad.
e85 should make alot more power than pump fuel. 4" exhaust will be awesome, i cant wait to see how this turns out. any upgrades to ignition system?

hey turbo trana, i went with 4mm all over.. Its strong as, and shouldnt give me any issues. Hows your car coming along??

I havent really done much for ages. Its nearly all there, Just need a few bits and pieces and ready to assembly. Two kids and a wife does not leave much spare time anymore.
If anyone in Perth has a EF timing cover they can sell me, it would help things along tho.

Getting there, been on it til 3am every night this week.. Im extremely happy with how the powder coat came up.. Ive finished my 4in exhaust, it is a monster, i did manage to get it over the diff no worries. Just waiting to get my dump pipe back from the ceramic coater. Starting the fuel system monday, and fit all the pipes back up for the cooler and fit the new bumper. Its all happening

its probably got roughly 80mm ground clearance. I didnt modify the underside of the floor at all, It would be able to sit a bit higher but you would need to cut out a bit of the gearbox x-member, i gave it about 8-10mm clearance under the x-member so this is the lowest point. Ill get a pick when its bolted back up.. Oh yea, I didnt use a muffler either, gonna see how loud it is first.. If its bad, then ill fit a small hotdog to it.. But it wont tame it down to much i dont think.
