Thanks stockstandard, was a good read. It's going to make my install a lot easier to do if i make my own kit up.

Cheers

Nice one stockstandard...I was looking for the same html myself...I actually think it is still hosted on 'gasresearchpc' but they have just removed the link from the navigation.

They do make it seem easy in the instructions...some of the pics are of an EF engine bay and some are of their AU test mule (JFYI).

Too true... TSA don't seem too keen to sell me anything anyway... sent an email last friday enquiring about the kit and no response yet... email went, got no reply bouncing back or anything. To add to that I never even got a reply about getting a kit from them earlier last year when i was thinking of Turboing my ED (RIP :( ). hmmm... Oh well, their loss!

I'm sure I can handle putting something together myself anyway... Adds even more satisfaction into modding your car when you know it's uniquely yours. If you can't tell i've just been reading through Pyroays thread again... It never fails to inspire me

Cheers

yeah

One thing you will find very common in this industry is that shops set up websites but rarely/never check their email. You really need to call them if you want any info.

Cheers

Ford 6 Cyl EF-AUI – Turbo Kit Specifications – Stage One

TSA is proud to release their Stage One Falcon Turbo Kit.
Below is a detailed list of kit items supplied in each kit and associated operating specifications:

TURBOCHARGER:
TO3 Based
Internal Wastegate
Boost Limited to 5p.s.i

EXHAUST MANIFOLD:
Tuned Length Design - provides maximum efficiency and exhaust flow
Hand built to exacting tolerances
Produced from mild steel – will provide excellent long term operation

FUEL SYSTEM:
Modified computer adapter module (ECU performance chip) – Modifies Fuel and Ignition maps for boosted application
Variable Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator – Increases fuel injector rail pressure proportional to manifold boost

WATER INJECTION SYSTEM:
Kit consists of high pressure pump, injector unit and pressure switch – used in conjunction with kit to provide mild intercooling and detonation control

EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Replaces complete exhaust system (Except Catalytic Converter)
63mm diameter (2.5inch), mandrel bent design
Straight through muffler design

INTAKE PIPING:
Design to use existing air filter box and cold air intake

EXTRAS:
Oil pressure feed and return lines and fittings
Low level water warning lamp kit
Heat shield for turbine housing
Fitting and tuning instructions

OPTIONS:
Chrome finish on intake pipe work.
High flow air filter kit.
Larger flow, low friction (roller) bearing Turbocharger Units
Exhaust High Temperature coatings

Quote:
SNORT STAGE 2

1 x full custom s/steel log style turbo manifold
1 x 40mm polished racegate
1 x KKK 450r turbocharger ( rated over 400hp )

1 x super billet b.o.v

1 x boost reference fuel regulator

1 x front mount intercooler ( core size 600x300x76 )
3 inch s/steel dump pipe with o2 sensor bung
1 1/2 inch s/steel screamer pipe ( from wastegate )
Teflon braided oil feed lines, vclamps, oil sender t
Teflon oil drain lines gaskets and fittings
3 inch pod filter
Image

so basically, the TSA kit is 'intercoolerless' due to the water injection system.

so TSA vs Snort stage 2
TSA: has everything (including exhaust & ecu chip), but uses water injection instead of intercooler
SNORT: has everything but (exhaust & intercooler piping) and uses intercooler.

does anybody know if SNORT STAGE 2 is supplied with a ecu chip?

No it does not come with a chip. YOU have to sort that side of things out.
