I am no turbo expert but that looks like a VERY clean job and I would assume it was stock if i pulled up at a set of lights next to it, nice sleeper!

Anyone know anything more about the car? Or is it just a home job with no online content about it?

That thing is tidy, love 2 have that no one would suspect anything until you where 20+ car lengths in front of them boosting away lol.

Not sure if i'm reading the dyno printout properly, but is that a tad over 1400Nm of torque??? That would be one friggin fast car!! And an excellent sleeper!

dont forget - the torque measured on a dyno doesnt equal torque at the engine. That ~1200 measured at the rollers is around 350NM at the wheels when you consider the gear ratios.

AFAIK the 550 is measured at the crank with no accessories. Once you bolt on alternators, a/c compressors, ps pumps, water pumps and then take into account power lost through the gearbox and diff, friction of the tyres on the rollers etc its a fair bit lower than 550.

torque actually works the opposite to horsepower.

you lose hp by the time it gets to your wheels

you gain torque by the time it gets to your wheels.

with the gear reduction that takes place in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear and also having a diff ratio of ie: 3.45:1 it's easy to see how torque can be increased (think of first gear in a truck)

therefor the 1100nm of rear wheel torque maybe somewhere between the vicinity of 500-600nm at the flywheel.

that is "tractive effort" torque, not "torque" in the way you are thinking of it. Really not much guide of anything.
