Just a quick question, ive decided to single turbo my nl fairlane ghia v8.

Ill start a new thread later with the whole build so far. As its already underway.

Now im going to make my own exhaust manifold for the turbo ( gt45 master power ) 1.05 rear housing.

Im going to use steam pipe I just wanted to know what size pipe I should make the log manifold going to the turbo and also what size pipe i should use from the crossover to the log manifold?

Steam pipe marked 1 1/4 bit its actually 1 1/2 - 30+mm 2" pipe for all the other ..
A log with long primeries is best with some angle into log.. Try to avoid 90* bends..


Another option is to run 2 into 1 / 2 into 1 on each side with collectors anywhere you want..Then 2" pipe to turbo
Get plenty of 90* bends. Cutting them in half gives you heaps of 45*'s for bends etc..
