Buy a snort performance kit then get any workshop to fit it all up for you then take it to somewhere like kpm and get them to put a flash tuner in for you.
A mate of mine got his au done at kpm cost s**t loads but was good work. And pulled 250 rwkw
He paid 3000 for the stage 3 kit from snort then bought injectors for about 500 and gave it to kpm motorsport and they put it all on and tuned it for around the 6000 mark.

turboing your motor is def easier than a ba motor swap. but if your au is worth say 8 to 10 g and your going to spend 6 to 8 on a turbo conversion why dont just sell it and buy a cheap ba. i bought a ba turbo for 16 g with 96thou on the clock cheap as chips

sleek32 - Speak to Bruce Heinrich in Lonsdale.

He quoted me about 6-7k drive in drive out to do a full BAXR6 turbo engine conversion with flash tuner for my AU. Would end up walking away with about 250rwkw and I would know the engine can handle more if I wanted to spend the cash.

pree much thats not even the worse bit. his motor only lasted 3 months... he got them to build him a motor... cough cough 12 grand cough cough and after two weeks it started blowing smoke and they wanted him to cough up another grand for them to look at it and retune it...all that and they said after the work was done cause it wasnt a turbo kit that they had supplied they wouldnt warrenty the motor

OMG...Im speechless. Thats absolutely terrible. I've never heard of such blatant blind siding of a customer before. Simply unacceptable in my opinion. Its just wrong. I will never set foot on those premises EVER.

yes very much agreed. and he isnt a big rich guy he is someone who had a dream of a nice au turbo streeter. and has a big loan for that car which has left him broke.
