As the subject says after various opinions on all aspects.

looking for a streetable car about 220 to 250 rwkw.

car currently has v8 and 4 speed auto. have the six sitting round in the shed, was considering fixing the head and building a stronger trans for the six.cheaper if somthing breaks over the windsor which seem to be over priced

will be single turbo no matter what config

megasquirt 2 will be the ecu

any ideas or advise welcome

You will love the sound of the v8 and the torque will hammer the 6, only reason the v8 is more expensive is that it isnt very abundant as the taxi six engine.

Either way you will hit that figure pretty easy on these motors, make sure to use quality components and get it dyno tuned.

as if everyone goes with a turbo 8, the turbo 8 will rape the 6 with less boost, easy as, just harder tp package and harder to cool, apart from that IMO turbo V8 is better in all aspects, and its got soul.

yea but in a xg he says he is looking for 220 to 250 rwkw the six will do that easily and use half as much fuel in the process

Using 1/2 as much fuel will produce 1/2 as much power :!:
