Be interesting what cam timing works??
I'd say more advance on inlet as boost rpm increases ,maybe retard on exhaust if back pressure is there to prevent reversion ??...
In any case with even if locked they would still make decent power, just better wider power band...

Nah mate, my brother ended up using that 8860 he got. All runs fine...but dont think it can control the VCT.

Car is pretty much complete, put a 3.23 diff in it. Bonnet is now on, pics below, now just to tune it and thats it.

how did ya go with the dash i thought that the BA intergrated the dash etc etc and what about smartlock or what ever the BA alt is??

If he's running the 8860 mentioned earlier, it won't have SmartShield, so no problems with that. As for running a BA cluster. If the ECU can spit out the appropriate OBD2 bus signals it should work.

(shame about the poor quality photos, looks to be in better than new condition).

dosent have anything to do with the BA dash and running the ems 8860 as mentioned earlier...

yeah pics where just camera phone pics, should have some better one's soon...and no pics of under the hump yet...

car is undergoing a few new mods...should be done in a couple weeks so ill post some pics then =]
