Hi guys,

Yet anther post about the recently installed vortech into my BF xr8. So I now have a v3 6psi setup currently non-intercooled. What are your thoughts on going through frozenboost.com, the kit I would like to install would be this http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info ... a8cb38e331 but realistically would this prove to be a hard task I assume. Should I just bite the bullet and pay capa $1800 air-air or $3300 for water-air. I find it extremely hard to justify these prices just to cool down some air! hmmm what to do... :?

Cheers,
Dan

I've been looking at the same thing. Joe from Crescent Motorsports has purchased from them with success. I think Yobbo also put one in his EBXR6 (with the heat exchanger in the boot, stealth!)

I've found one which will fit underbonnet directly between my supercharger and the throttle body - just need an extra inch of clearance, which im attending to at the moment :)

Awesome, lucky you. My bonnet wont close for that type of setup for the boss, just measured today with a template cutout. Good to hear that site is trust worthy, hate to plan all this and it not happen.

I'm just thinking ill run the intercooler core at the front of the car...or somewhere. I'm determine enough to nut this one out. I'll post up my complete setup once I have installed it all.

.....Jealous... straight up that's awesome man, you have done well! Unfortunately im doing the band-aid solution for now water-methanol injection first, just for 5-6 psi anyway. Let me know how ya go with heat soak, be good to have a temp sensor tapped in to see whats happening.
