Ive been looking into a few different options at what to do to my ute and a turbo seems to be the best way to go.

Is it possible to turbo it with stock internals? Only 140k on the clock. And any information on what turbo and manifold will do the job and where I can source the parts from.

Cheers, Justin.

Spend some time browsing these forums - plenty of info for exactly what you want to do.

stock internals will be fine as long as the tune is good.
as to what parts to use, whats your budget ?

Yeah been doing just a quick browse and alot of home-made jobs have come up that are very inspiring. Budget wise Id be happy to get away with everything for around $2k. I can get a BA XR6 turbo cheap and the manifold looks easy enough to tackle, its just the tune and the intercooler to worry about.

some have done it for that money. if you can handle the install yourself you should be ok.
spend some more time researching before you spend some cash.

if you can get a ba turbo cheap try to get the dump pipe aswell.
Log manifolds to suit can be had for pretty cheap ~$300 i have seen some go for.

Intercooler is pretty simple - ebay coolers work, and you can get alloy pipe's and silicone joiners from there aswell. My cooler piping cost me about $200 from ebay. Plenty of pics of installs that will give you some idea's.

fuel system ? stock injectors will be OK with a rising rate reg.
i would try to find a set of BA injectors and get a j3 tune, consider upgrading the fuel pump and fuel reg aswell.

exhaust stock cat and 2.5" minimum - 3" would benefit you more with a hiflow cat.
