Hi i have a 2004 ba xr8 auto ute it does not seem to have a traction control button but it is relatively doey until it reaches around 3000rpm is this normal?

hard to say, i find theyre usually pretty good all over, but not always..
2004 would still have new car warranty on it unless its got high km so take it back to the dealer and get it checked out

i thought utes didnt get traction control?

I thought BF utes were the first to get traction control

My BF XR8 Ute has traction control but it doesn't get the dynamic stability control that the sedan gets.

BA MKII Turbo and XR8 utes had traction control. not 100% if XR6 utes have it or not

From the BA MK2 onwards the Utes have traction control, Well thats what we got here in NZ. My BA Pursuit doesn't have traction control..........Its a real Ute. :wink: :wink:

Most of the 5.4 dohc boss motors are a bit flat below 3000rpm. It has nothing to do with the traction control.

i have a BA MKII turbo ute and it doesnt have traction control, my mate also has a MKII turbo ute and it doesnt have traction control either....

BF utes were the first to receive traction control afaik... :)

BF were the first utes to get traction control.
unless its had a trip down to FTG!!! we have fitted traction control to a BA ute. easy job and well worth the exercise!!!!
