Hey all,
Took my 04 BA V8 mont to a dyno the other week and she put out 180.1 rwkw and 461Nm, pretty dam happy with that, only mods are XR8 exhaust and a custom CAI. Still have to put a Manta quad 2.5" cat back on it! I'll upload the print out when i get around to scanning it. |

What sort of custom CAI do you have on it? Interested to see.

Made it myself, bit of 90mm pipe with a 60° bend in it, connected with a 90° rubber bend and the mother of all pod filers on the end of it.

I really thought they would be better than that.....  ......my old 93 ED is making 150 rwkw.Is it the 3 valve 220kw engine ???.....now that i'm looking at it, a 40kw drop from flywheel to tread, seems about right......

that and peak power means SFA with the 3V.
its a torque monster.

Yeah got a 14.9 down the quarter. Probably could have done better if i had better tyres. I brought a set of XR6 wheels with second hand tyres on them so i wasn't buring up my street tyres, driving back with them on my traction control kept kicking in every time I floored it. They were really crap tyres.

srrry wordedong. the peak torque is at about 3500 rpm. the 230 kw is it 5250
but aye its great. just put a secondary air intake on today as it needed more air.
