THEY DON'T f**k WORK!Understand?

Too true fellas. Anyone that actually read the ad properly would realise they are a con act & not need to be the 8 millionth person to ask. Then again, I suppose anyone that clever could also perform a basic forum search.

All it is is a resistor to trick the management system in some way, 50c for the item, $19.50 for the instructions.

its bull s**t!!!!
some a**hole is making s**t loads of money from innocent people who no nothing about there engine management..

it just tricks your ecu into thinking your engine is cold therefore making it run rich.. so you just use more petrol than needed..

in some cases it just trips the ucu out and the car wont idle or start...
i had a mate put on a holden rodeo and the check engine light kept coming on and the engine would miss then stall and after 2 weeks the ecu had fried...

he removed the pathetic chipmod resister and fitted a replacement ecu and it went better then it did with the chipmod resister(ecu killer)lol

so dont buy it its crap....

What is this, i think i smell s**t... could this be true?

It's a 50 cent diode that goes on the intake air temp sender to change the value that goes to the computer and makes it think there is a colder more dense charge of air so supplies more fuel. i doubt you would notice much of anything but $20 is stuff all and if you get 1000 sales at $20=20,000 minus $500 at most for diodes then a clear $19500 sound like a good undeclared income scam to me.
