I checked and tested the recommended crane springs and they werent much chop. The doubles help with any harmonics.
I ended up with Compcam springs #978-16 specs are 126lb@1.85 and 368lb@1.250.

ok well its all in and running great although i need a new engine mount, and that aint cheap

Which springs did you end up using? The Crane 'conical' springs or something else?

yeah i used the crane ones, but it was verry close, the exhaust collets made the spring/retianer sit about 1mm from hitting the rocker arm, but it hasnt hit yet so should be fine, and actually putting them in has stopped some of the vibrations my car once had
