hey mate sorry to hear that ! fraud hey thats why i stoped taking my car to them as i got no end of problems.have you looked into how much it is going set you back if you have to repair you self? hope all comes out good for ya :wink:

Yes i have looked in to it and it's not cheep but if i have to pay for it i am getting all the good s**t .
this is a list of what i have looked in to

H beam conrods
clevlite bearings
arians comp dome pistons and rings with s/steel accessories
billet oil pump gears
ford racing heads heavy duty valves lifters
heavy duty v/springs and titanium retainers
pro cams 262
vanier gears
110 mm throttle body flash tune and injectors .hopeing for 300 rwkw +
have i forgot any thing

Nothing wrong with the heads that come on them, if you rebuild it I wouldn't go to the extra expense of new heads

seriously mate why dont you buy a crate windsor and slot into it rather than wasting money on a boss

itl go better weigh less and be more economical and you can work on it yourself with basic tools!!

She has been striped down , still waiting on pistons but i have got every thing elts. i'm told they will be here this week .

Just to correct a few things stated in this thread.

Orion is still getting BOSS motors. BOSS290 production HASN'T stopped - they're going into FG XR8s.

Why would Ford/FPV warrant a dealer fit mod. Dealer should warrant it. That's why Ford dealers don't offer any aftermarket gear anymore - they won't warrant it, and neither will Ford.

No it is not a typo .I am going big all the way ,big air flow meter and the intake is geting modifide to suit . My mechanic has used them before and told me thats the way we should go . Don't you like this idear.?

Well first of all B-series Falcons are all speed density so no need for a MAF. As for having such a large t-body, it has been proven time and time again that just sticking an enormous t-body on an engine without consideration to it's operating range is a flawed approach.
I'd certainly like to see dyno graphs showing the area under the curve produced by this t-body compared to stock and even slightly larger versions.
