ok so i need info on the 351 been looking around alot of forums and came across (3.85 stroker. You use stock 351 rods, 302 pistons) now is that right or does it sound like a yarn? if right are the 302 piston's the same diameter, and would the block need to be honed, new to all this.

302/351C Pistons are one and the same, so no, it is a yarn. You can't make a 393 using any std 302c/351 rods or pistons. Even with the 6" 302 rod, it doesn't have the correct Chev bigend size to mate up to a 3.85" crank.
I know the 9.5" deck windsor can be turned into a 393 using std parts of other windsors, using certain piston/rod combinations.

If it's a windsor your talking about it's not a yarn. I've built one myself....it's a good low cost 392 stroker.
BTW 289/302/351W,302C/351C and 351M/400 all have a 4" bore.
