Hey Guys,

Anyone know how much stronger the mexican block is over the std 302W ? (just considering one for the 347 build)

I'm presuming there are no mexican roller blocks..

Cheers :)

I was told that to stroke any late model windsor the bottom end would have to be braced but the late 60's early 70's 302 block would handel the stroker kit without problems as the casting was thicker.

Brace doesnt help that much, just holds it all together when it does break ;)

I'm aware of the power limitations on the std block, just curious as to how much stronger the mexican block is.

I spoke to him today and the mexican block was in the late 60's earlie 70's fords. The block has a different metal content which aids in the strength and durability, not sure of hp possibility's but he is in the process of building a ford willies jeep with supercharged windsor 302 mexican block and assures me that between 500-600 hp will not be a problem. I hope this helps
