Yep, Knock the stroke down to 3" and it drops by 50hp and 20lb/ft.
Then, using your S-trim it comes down to 595hp @ 6000 and torque drops off by over 100lb/ft as you'd expect. But if you spin it to 7000 it makes a 100hp more again!

I'd be more inclined to use AFR 205s or TFS R heads for a blown 351... Even Victor Jnrs would work perfectly fine.

As Pete has mentioned aim for around 8.5-9:1 comp (easily done), run a 4340 forged rotating kit and a girdle down below.

I don't know if any of the Kenne Bell kits are capable of supporting a true 700hp (I've not read enough about them) but Whipple certainly make PD blowers which will get you there. Might be a tad expensive though.

Yeah ok but you'll need to hog the livin s**t out of it. You'll need to at least use their 2.3L blower.
I'd use a TFS-R or Victor 5.8 EFI lower instead of the GT40 and custom make the upper to suit the KB, of course I'd prefer to sandwich a water to air intercooler between too.

I have a TFS Box R for a 351, not used and still in the box, Was going to use it on the big motor, but have moved away from forced induction. Its with the mech and i will find out what i paid for it, if you are interested of course.

Pete, i feel it is a little large for the NA application, would be awesome for a forced go, but a bit big for NA. Pluse i already have the Victor Plate efi NOS, so will be going down that road, see how it goes, if not what i want then the BoxR may go back on
