You've got buckleys of finding a gt40 lower. Easier to get Edelbrock performer like in my 351w into XE post above.

Big influx of high powered windsors in Perth now, must be a good thing.

Well the U.S. is probably your next option. But I've had contact from at least 3 yanks in the last few months looking for the same thing....good luck. Found one about a year ago but some a**hole had ceramic coated(read f**k it!) it.

Yep Lightnings '93-'95 and also '95 Mustang Cobra R which had the curved inlet '94-'95 Cobra intake which, if you could get it is the lowest profile 351 upper there is. Put one in a Cobra kit car once and it fitted under the bonnet!?

Been doing a bit of research and was wondering following things for my build

Would AFR 185's be a good choice even if i was planning to supercharge 351 Windsor?

If Heads good choice which ones 58cc 60cc or 72cc?

what would be good comp ratio was thinking around 8.5 - 9

After around 600-700hp streetable horsepower 6500rpm max

Ideas greatly appreciated

205 or even biggeer... 8.5 compression I would aim for... On a 351 block... With good tune...
With 185 and up the pistons require larger notch's in due to bigger valves.. Being that its a high output motor I figure forged pistons and roatating assembly...
With blower any decent heads will make power...

AFR 185's are a good choice but AFR205's, TFS-R intake, 9:1 comp, Crane HR-224/339-2S-12, Novi2000 or Vortech T-trim @ 10lbs
Dyno 2000 says 695hp @ 6000rpm 714lb/ft @ 4000. Simulator tends to overestimate torque so figure on 660-680lb/ft. Torque at 2000rpm would be around 520-550lb/ft.
AFR 185's knock about 70hp off the top end but that's all.

695 horsepower through a falcon tranny and diff too? Looks like a C4 and 9" too. :)
