Looking at that add and the condition of the car, I would be steering well clear of that one matey.....

If it has been badly maintained (which I'd say it has **cheap bodykit, mismatching wheels, unrepaired damage, brown coolant, unregistered, dirty etc etc etc) then it will cost you big dollars to get up to scratch.

No photo's of the interior (and judging by the rest of the car, it's probably a disaster as well).

At that age and K's you are probably up for timing case cover (if not already done) possibly lower intake manifold, water pump, hoses, radiator plugs, leads etc etc. Add it up and anyway you look at it, with body work, wheels, probably interior peices etc, you are going to be forking out thousands on top of the purchase price. lets not forget that it is currently not rego'd as well.... that could be a very ugly can of worms right there!!!

For pics of an explorer manifold, have a look at any XR8 intake manifold after ELII XR8. They are a better flowing manifold which ='s more HP.

If you have to have an ED XR, there are ALOT better buys out there in that bracket.

turns out this car is my girlfriends mothers friends husbands and it is as philaddis said it is rough and he won't get what he is asking. so i will check my emails and so fourth and see if he has sent more pictures to make my own mind without wasting a 3 hour trip to have a look at a right s**t box...

like the only selling point that it is a manual... cause there is an alright looking ed xr8 auto for a buy it know price of $2300
