That's a fairly tidy looking car.
$7500 is a pretty good price, especially with only 147,000 kilometres. Doesn't matter if you paid more, depends on what you were after. I paid double this for my car, although its a ghia, but for the extra $7500 you could do some pretty sweet stuff to it.

yer i paid more than that for my EF V8... pisses me off a bit especially when i just spent $500 on repairs after 2 weeks of haveing it... i wonder why the f**k i even got an RACV check! oh well f**k it... $500 and it wont f**k up for a while lol

im in the same boat, i bought my car, got the RACV check and green light,
4 weeks down the track most of the cooling system s**t itself, theres $650, 3 months after that the head gasket blewout and cylinders filled with coolant,also stuffed the head aswell. Never getting an racv check again

I'm guessing you both may not realise that RACV offer a guarantee on their inspections. The blurb is, from the RACV site:
30-day Mechanical Guarantee RACV is offering a 30-day Mechanical Guarantee on pre-purchase and comprehensive vehicle inspections, available exclusively to RACV members. RACV will provide a reimbursement on the cost of repairing a mechanical fault not identified on the inspection report, giving added assurance when purchasing a used vehicle. Maybe you might fit into this catagory.. Get some $$$ back. |

I sold my EL Ghia V8 for more than that and it had 300,000ks.
My leather seats were all leather and those ones appear to be velour and leather. I also had the Tickford bodykit on it with big rear wing. Thats a good price for that car. |
