Bottom line.....stick a 351 in it!

That is the only reason I would even entertain the thought of an engine swap.
If your gonna swap, at least put something in that'll make a difference!
So, along with Pete and Vic, another vote for a 351w :D

Add another vote for 351W, as I am considering it myself.

I've done the V8 conversion in my EB Ghia. Best time/hassle/money ever spent.

The bolt-on performance available for the V8's is amazing :)

That's the best part, you can only guy so far with a 6 but with the 8 the sky's the limit.

Rushed...regarding the V8 vs 6 argument...even if the 6 is quicker, you'll always be jealous of the dude that has the twin pipes (or even single) and sweetest sounding note around (especially the Ford 5.0L). Well at least thats my opinion and my experience. A V8 always has more cred...maybe thats slowly changing but its certainly still strong here in CQ!!

That is VERY true.

Although it wont matter toooooo much when you are a solid car length in front once the speed limit rolls around after a quick sprint from the lights
