I've just had to replace the heater core in my ef xr8 & to do that i had to get the A/C degassed, I hate A/C & never use it so i was thinking of pissing it off all together.
So the question is can i use a 85-93 mustang A/C Eliminator kit( http://www.steeda.com/products/ac_eliminator_kits.php ) or is it easier to get the parts off of a non A/C V8?

all you need to do once everything is removed is to get a shorter serpentine belt. I have the part number here somewhere. I get back to you later on that one.

how much do you want for the entire a/c setup if its up for sale. cheers

Wouldn't that have cost more than a new serpentine belt?

The Pully is just over $100 from the states & a new serpentine belt is around $80. Auto pro & Repco dont list a belt for non A/C & i didnt want a set up that was hard to get belts for.

thats cause they can tie their own shoes without a writen guide

could of simply got bit of wire/string gone around all the pullies and taken a messurement then gone into said parts shop and said this is what i need.

but seems like the pulley is the go so good luck with that avenue.

Hey nannas_ed any chance you still have that serpentine belt part number?
I've been f**k around with the pulley & the shorter belt is now the best bet.
I think i read on here that the I6 belt could do the job anyone know if this is true?
