I've got an FBT, number 002, and have tried this but the econ light will not flash and there seams to be no difference in the way it shifts. how long does it have to be in R before the light should flash?

Remember I had an ELGT ECU? But it didn't work on my car anyway as I think they (GT and FBT) have a different BEM or TCM; can't remember.

I would think the TCM controls adaptive shift, if that is the case I wonder would a TCM out of a EL GT or FBT work with a standard V8 ECU?
