Hey All,

Just looking into Aftermarket block and need some info of where to buy them and what are they worth

Ive been looking into the the following block's

Dart
Man of War
Ford racing

Any other i have missed

They are pretty much the big 3 aftermarket blocks for windsors. My dream block would be a tall deck alluminium dart. But being a non factory alluminium block if you want to go drag racing your pretty much stuck with the real big boys in outlaw classes.

Reckon you would get more for your money in a world buts thats just my preference. They are the ones that be on my wish list.

Read a good article in one of my mustang mags about them.
One of their new 330 odd ci Z-headed crate engines would be nice. They've even made cleveland/boss looking rocker covers for the windsor heads.

I have the Dart Iron Eagle..
Very little machining required when building engine..
As with most blocks with decent main caps.. The sump requires some re- modeling around # 4 mains cap...

Yeh Dart or Man of War are the way to go, get extra cubes out of them too
