hi,
im investigating the shpping cost of getting some alloy heads..
can anyone give me a ball park of how much a single assembled head weighs?

27lbs for a single assembled GT40X cylinder head according to the Ford Racing Parts website...add a few lbs for packaging too I suppose.

Hi Mitch.It will cost $146 US for each head and insurance for $1000 each will cost $11 for each package.Best postage option to here is usps priority mail international,7 or 8 days.Dont use UPS they're like our TNT (hopless).Hope this helps.

ive read about the shipping container method.. having $1500 worth of heads in transit for 3 months worries me a bit.. paying an extra 250-300 to recieve them the next week is money well spent in my books..

however it does make the saving of buying them internationally alot smaller
