hi all,

im looking at buying a dart shortblock and was wondering if its worth the extra $750 for aluminum main caps over the standard steel caps?

any advice would be great, thanks.

I would rather the steel ones. The top of the mains is braced by the rest of the block.
If you went the alloy ones, then a main cap girdle might be required too.
Just a thought.
