a 88 mustang gt has a kerb weight of 1300kg, compaired to a ef/el that is, what? 16-1700kg's?

My EF Fairmont Ghia comes in at 1680 without me or fuel, so that takes it over 1800, and i usually race with a full tank( mainly so i can compare improvements and not have to match the fuel each time).
