hi, i've got a 2.5" single exhuast on my au 5ltr auto, is it worth taking the rear muffler off and putting in a straight through pipe. would it drown heaps?? and would it be too loud.

Shouldnt drone, ive only got two straight through mufflers on mine and it doesnt, its loud though...Did only have one until got pinged when going through rego for being too loud.

When I bought my XR8 I had to get it blueslipped as It had ACT rego and I was changing it to NSW.
They reckon it was too loud (it was), so I had to get it quietened. Another straight through made SFA, but thats what they wanted put on there.

take it out mate, you wont be disappointed
 i have a single 2.5 inch with one straight through muffler and it sounds great, just keep ya foot of the pedal when you go past the cops.

I've got a single muffler on a 3" single, it's loud when fair up it, drones a little at 110 but thats it.

Windows up at 110ks does it drone in the cabin? I have 2 straight through lukey's but wouldn't mind it a touch louder...
