G'day Mate, welcome to the forums.

It sure will fit up, which one have you got? The 65mm or the 70mm unit with the Tickford wings?

You may have a hard time buying one, and expect to pay top dollar, they are a well sought after item.

Remember you will have to remove and blank hoses going to your current EGR as the Tickford 70mm deletes the EGR altogether.

The only AU XR8's with the 70mm Tickford T/B were the late series 2 and series 3 220kw ones, all others had the 65mm unit.

The 65mm is alot easier to find and more than half the price. Its also probably the best size t/b for a stock or fairly modified 5.0. I have no doubt they will be sufficient enough to allow upto 220rwkw, maybe even more.

The 70mm is as big as you want to go on a 5.0, any bigger and it'll send you backwards.

Nah not in Perth area, have a look on e-bay, might be something.

I was running a 65mm on mine for a while, then got an offer i couldnt refuse on a nice polished 70mm Ford Racing one, so then sold the AU one, if only you came on here earlier :) .

Factory T/B on your 185kw is 58mm.

Perhaps a New BBK billet throttle body, around $300ish.
