would it be very hard to put the au xr8 throttle body onto an nf failane? i have a feeling the plugs are different?

i may be picking up the complete intake from a ts50 motor soon and just wanna know if its all just bolt up or if i have to mod some stuff to fit.

The TPS connector is different plus of course your fairlane needs two Sensors...something AU's never had.
I'm pretty sure the TS50 intake will not clear your distributor cap either.
Plus it would not be an ideal intake for a stock stroke mild 5.0 in a heavy car.

Im pretty sure it would clear the distributer, its no where near the intake it has now and ive seen many explorers on the efs and els.
what would be an ideal intake? surly it would be better than the s**t HO gear on it?

ohyeah its the series one gear not the T3 stuff. so all explorer.

If it is the Explorer Manifold and not the "boxed" TS upper it will fit and clear no worries..

thanks

the main question was about the throttle body though, so is there any way of fitting one without major work or just not worth it?

Check here. Basically elongate the holes till it lines up and bolts up, measure and adjust voltage, and bob is your uncle.
