A good quality 2.5" single system will get you good results and sound, or you can look at a 3" but you may find you loose a bit of low down response compared with the 2.5". If you have plans for big power upgrades then maybe opt for a 3" or twin 2.5" setup.

A twin 21/2" into a cross tube and straight through mufflers is the way to go then save up for a set of pacemakers 4 into 1 :D

So you obviously want no low down torque then. Twin 2.5" is only needed when you getting 250+rwkw, anything below that is just overkill and will cost you low end power. Same goes for 4-1 extractors, great if you plan on reving it to 6k+, otherwise tri-y's will get you a much better result IMO.

a m8 has a AU 3 XR8 with the 220kw motor, went for twin 2.25's into a single 3", reckons it pulls hard and i reckon it sounds pretty damn good
