mate it is really simple....if all is in order no axle tramp, it is an indication of worn rear suspension parts. make sure all is well and all will be ok.

ps be carefull as axle tramp can easily shatter diff centres and snap axles, i have seen a wheel fall off a car after a tramping burn out....and i have also destroyed a 9" centre in my coupe at summer nats 17 with axle tramp :(

since fitted new king springs leaves and koni adjustable shocks with new urethane bushes and no more axle tramp :D

I disagree with you there im sorry, i got an almost new BA XR8 ute and it gets axle tramp like a b**ch. I think its got to do alot with tyre choice, and lack of weight in the baclk end. My suspension certainly aint worn out yet, and it gets axle tramp!!! I made up some of the old cat killer bars but took em off as they scrape on everything!

Yeah i agree with shadow... i have got a manual i6 ef which has been lowered 2.5in on bilstein shocks and lovell springs and it axletramps if u dont try to spin but if i put the foot into it when it does start spining just for a second or so it fixes it self up and i know the shocks i got and the springs i got arent shot cos i doubt u will find nicer shocks on a ef...

BILSTEIN ROCK!!

im with shadow on that one i think the main problem with axel tramp in au-ba is the big 17-18" tyres that are designed not to spin lol each thump is a $50 bouncing out your wallet lol just fords way of letting you know how much tyres cost

The only time I never get tramp though is when taking off hard round a corner, she'll drift like on ice everytime, never a bounce in it then.
