Hi there,
I'm actually selling a set of Crow Cams (see for sale section on Fordmods)

Answers:
1 no you don't, or at least shouldn't have to
2 you can just install them and the car will start, getting it tuned after is advisable!
3 if you have mechanical knowledge and know what you're doing, yes you can, no hoist is needed

If you wanna know about gains go to http://www.crowcams.com.au
http://www.crowcams.com.au/media/catalo ... %20BA8.pdf if you check this link out, I'm selling the first 4 part #'s on the list, mild performance cams to suit BA XR8 quad cam

Cheers,
Mel

General consensus is that on the BOSS260, cams don't provide good bang for buck.

You'll get a nice lumpy idle and exhaust note, but the performance gains simply aren't worth the money. The reason, the compression ratio on the 260 isn't high enough.

BOSS290's respond well to cams.
