no wuckers greg!
Basically from '82 5.0's went with the 50oz imbalance because the crankshaft centre counterweights were shrunk down in mass. This necessitated the imbalance to be moved outside the engine...on the flywheel and balancer. If you get a chance to look at an old 302 crank next to an '82-up type you'll see what i mean. Also note that these late blocks are a considerably lighter casting, 25lb's lighter in fact. This is why the factory engineering rating was reduced from 500hp to 350hp on the late blocks.

Yep, pin 41 will drive the low side of your fan relay(use a relay with a flyback diode and at least 40A capacity). The parameters are in Caledit...I will post the settings when I get home.

Hi Greg,

Find these in the Scalars list.
This is how I set my 1DDC in the ute to turn on the fans at 190F and off again at 180F.

Fan_high_speed_any_load_temp = 180
Fan_high_speed_high_load_temp = 190
Fan_low_speed_temp = 180
Fan_present = 1
Fan_two_speed_enable = 1
