On the 650, put a pair of centre float bowls on, a splitter for the fuel lines, electric pump ( using oil pressure switch to turn it on )....try 64's in the front. Also, fit the 350 Holley accelerater nozzle, they give better direction.
Fit MSD or ICE ignition system and regraph the dizzy.
You didn't say if it was an auto or not.
Did you dial in the cam???

Thx cjh
for your reply & advice,
yes cam was dialed in,
we have taken our time so no mistakes,
drove it the other day it has a very bad dead spot at pick up, to pass that you have to put the foot down & wait-but gotta make sure nothing is in front off you tho,the carby is still has was taken off engine before the rebuild & mods, going for tune next week we'r not to sure if to stay with that carb or look around for another system,
it is auto with new thundermax ignition system, there's no spark problem for sure
we are new to this & that's why this site & you guy's are a god-send
PS can a 7.55mb 22 sec video clip be uploaded on here?
again thanks

Sort of...the film clip.....post it to youtube, then post the link to youtube.
You didn't say if you regraphed the dizzy.
Where did you set the cam too...retarded...dot to dot...advanced?????
What diff gears are you running???
What comp ratio are you running???
What car are you running it in???.....XR, XT, XW...something else....Capri, Escort????
What size power valve are you running????
I have found the spreadbore carby's to be good alround ones, good low down torque and economy when you want it.
