I have just bought a series 1 te50 and was wandering what the best mods would be to improve hp.

How true that is, full exhaust system with decent tri-y extractors!
Get the best of both worlds, lovely note and decent performance gains.. cant go wrong in my eyes.
Carlos,

Should already have decent zorst i rekon, im guessing its a tickford twin pipe system with stock coated extractors..?
Depending on what cash ur looking at spending, if you want big gains what id personally do is stroke it n get it up to T3 spec unless your willing to go Supercharger.
Smaller gains, well depends what its got stock, maybe better cams n such.. the usual.
Do a search n have a look on "fordforums.com" alot of T series owners on there too. :D

Good luck n nice car, what she set u back; pics?

I would go for a cam change as that would give you the biggest power gains for the price. With the right cam you could see a 30rwkw+ improvement and it should set you back around $1500 installed. An exhaust would be another decent idea although gains here won't be as good because the factory system isn't all that bad. A good exhaust and tri-y extractors should give you around 10rwkw IMO and probably cost $1k+ depending on what you go for.

If you do it right, would fall just under 10k, once it is all said and done.
And that's with a few things already started, well thats what i have priced the job at, but then again, im looking for a 12.5 sec pass!
Carlos,
P.S Daniel, how are u cummin along with the custom boot install? Spoken to any ppl, run any qoutes? I'm lookin for a similar job, mayb we shuld team up...
