hello i have an au series 2 302 and i allso have a 347 bottom with cam and all the jazz and was wondering if it would be pretty much a straight swap of blocks, stock heads will go on it i no i need a flash tuner but is there any else i mite need?? In the way of tuning could i do most of it myself or just get someone to do? any idieas of price just to tune? thanx dwayne

It'll all swap over, but a set of bigger imjectors, larger maf and throttle body would do it wonders.

Just make sure that the 347 is externally balanced to suit the 50oz. balancer and flywheel.
Otherwise your may have trouble sourcing a flexplate...

Thanx its been blueprinted and what's a maf? How far could I go tuning it myself?

Maf is air flow meter.. Or Ma** Air Flow..
Mass is not a swear word??

Copy what Tickford did to the TE50...

You could go a long way if you spend the time educating yourself and getting a good understanding of how everything works.

do you think it will run good enough with the stock comp to get it to a dyno place or should i just get it put on a tilt tray?
