Hey Mate.

dose it hunt at idle? i would try cleaning out the throttle body. takes about 10sec with a clean dry rag.

It helped in my super pursuit sometimes when i started it it idled rough till she warmed up a bit or stabbed the throttle for a sec.

hope that helps.

Apparently, that's pretty normal for BA 290's. The changes made to the BF 290's smoothed it out more. I still get it occasionally but it's only noticeable on the tacho (can't feel it).

mines a BF but yeah thats really weird :? is yours a man or auto? i'm thinking it might be a problem with the tacho if you can't feel/hear it coming from the engine.

ZF auto. So any engine surging may be taken up by the torque convertor.

I do have noticeable surging, first thing in the morning during winter - reversing out of the garage is a little bumby. But it's gone by the end of the driveway.

yeah mine is a ZF auto too. great boxes far better than the BTR 4 cogger in my old mans BA GT-P.

thats what mine did until i cleaned the intake and throttle body, also through a bottle of flush lube injector cleaner through the 98octane BP and now she purrs like a kitten 8-)
