Yeah - there is a fair bit of clearancing required to fit the Eagle competition 347 stroker into a standard roller block. Hopefully - not too far down the track, this will all be retrofitted into a DART block.
How much power are you looking for Darren?

i would think 500+ hp would be nice
but i dont know if the T5G will handle it. and the grenada diff.
might have to look a bit milder like 350 -400 hp

500hp is getting close to hand grenade material - even as a 347. There are components that will take it and those that won't. The standard roller block is one of those things that won't.
Of course I am cheeky this time of night

as for the 9", DJR should be able to help you with a 9" carrier for the sierra IRS setup, cos DJR were behind getting the 9" homologated for race use in the late 80's.....

Are there stroker kits which don't require so much clearancing work (or none at all)?

No but there are blocks that come clearanced for the stroker cranks - they are called Darts.

Mine is 3.25 / 330 Crank in Dart block it still needed clearancing...It depends on what rods and bolts are used..If you are using std block keep h.p under 500 fwhp...

Strength check here...

Actually quite impressive what they take before giving up the ghost. High PSI or high revs.... most those guys getting under 11sec down 400m....

Did you derstroy your block before going to Dart ebxr?

No on engine stand in back shed...

Turbo of course...
Blew a few head gasgets so to lower comp I built another block..
It was more bad tune as I thought I fitted dissy in same place, obviously not....

I'd be happy with 500RWHP and keeping it under 6000rpm
