Have a read of the first 10 pages or so, there are a few threads on cams, here's one of them: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34610

I would be looking at a new intake manifold 1st. More power to be gained there

No probs, Ive taken these heads out a hell of a long way, and there is bugger all left in the port walls. If I was to do it again I would start with GT40P's, its just that I had these E7's spare so I ported the crap out of them. As you can see Ive dont the manifold as well which will be going on late next week, Ill keep you posted to how it goes in relation to an Explorer.

That is one big a*** cam.

What heads are you running to take the 570 odd lift ?

If you are going to keep running the gas the is the NX 282 better suited for the NOS
