Its a bit of a project, we were going to shut the tappets up and go from there, checking timing etc.

mine are 310k and no problems,as you say check balancer and timing and fuel used,do lifters after that.get the gaskets you need first.

I will check the balancer and timing when we do tappets. We have intake mani and rocker cover gaskets to throw in at the same time.leaks like a sieve from lh rocker cover at the rear. He got it for 2k,mint interior and body,and sunroof.had auto rebuild 2 months ago, just needs these few bits. What you reckon?
