Gday all, just want to know what you think of this cam. Will it suit my 351 ok. I run straight gas and the only mod SO FAR is 4 into 1 extractors. The cam is a Crane Cam and has these numbers : HIT-282-2-NC and this number: 522091. What do u think?
Later down the track Im getting a new manifold (single plane) and bigger gas mixer (425) Will this cam go ok with these other mods when i get them?
:)

Those part numbers mean nothing to me. Specs would be more useful.

You will find that getting the best from LPG needs some careful research. Too much or too little duration for your combination will cost you heaps of horsepower across the rev range, especially up top. Optimised LPG power delivery is fairly sensitive to vacuum & velocity. Too little duration & you missed out on reaching the engines potential, too much & you rob the engine of the necessary vacuum to draw enough air/fuel mix in to make the expected power.

I don't really like cross promoting forums, but, fordforums.com.au has a dedicated LPG section with plenty of experienced Clevo boys posting regularly. Give it a try.
