has anybody fitted the cobra intake manifold
http://www.blueovalindustries.com/images/cobrarintake.jpg to an EB XR8? it looks like it should fit under the bonnet, but just wandering if the throttle body will work with it?

Yes it will fit under the bonnet and the throttle body will bolt straight up.
It has the EGR integrated with the manifold so you dont need to reuse your EGR spacer.

'Cobra' manifold is fitted to the Sprints.
So I can't see why you'd have any problem fitting one to an EB XR8.

I have one on my ED, great manifold IMO plus even more potential with a bit of porting in the lower.

Slightly different to Sprints, Cobra have EGR built into them and DON'T have coolant passages for EGR...
Still have that inlet???

How hard are the Cobra manifolds to find compared to an Explorer?

Look for wrecked E-Series GT's or Sprints ;)
One popped up a few months ago on e-bay I think... (a manifold that is, not a wrecked sprint or GT)
