Look after the trans. Have it serviced and flushed every 20 000 and it'll love you for it.

The Windsor is a very reliable motor. There are many getting around with very high milage that have never been opened.

As fairmont1998 said, the engines are pretty bulletproof, the only issue can be corrosion in the timing cover if you don't keep good coolant in them, and it can be a very expensive problem to fix. Other than that, yeah keep the trans and engine regularly serviced and you should be fine.

Harmonic balancers have been known to let go. The outer ring can seperate from the inner ring and rubber sleeve. Easy to fix with the right tools.

Water pumps on the equivalent mustangs are good for about 10 years or 170,000km - this is when mine let go. Easy to fix assuming there's no corrosion issues with the water pump bolts.

Good, strong engines that will outlast the car if well looked after.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like I made good choice of car, it only has 134000ks on the clock. Previous owner spent a lot of money on suspension, wheels, brakes, exhaust and tints. The car looks good and goes grate, with simple maintanance it should be reliable for a long time.If any one has any other tips please let me know.
