Hi guy's son & I are having debate about best new intake manifold & carb to suit he's set up -Edelbrock air gap - Weiland stealth or X-celerator for street/ light strip for now:
1985 XF ute
302 Windsor
4” bore + 40,000
Manualised C4 - total Recon with new Kevlar bands
& new stage 2 s**t kit
After market flex Plate
Holley 650 vac
Torker 289 intake manifold
Street Terra roller rockers
Accel 50.000 volt coil
with
ThunderMax ignition
9” Diff,
302 crank balanced
304 Conrods
‘Dynotec Cam’
STAGE
3 Part No:
CM321D Lobe Spread Lobe Centres Cam Lift Valve Lift SAE Duration SAE 050 Duration 050 Over Lash
112 Int Exh Int Exh Int Exh Int Exh Over Lap Int Exh Lap Int Exh

Heads fully reco + strip and bead blast + crack and
pressure test + surface v8 heads + full port job to suit cam specs + 3 angle
seat cut and face valves + springs tested(110 ft/lbs seat pressure) + fit
new valve stem seals + new cam and lifters cam specs-valve lift inlet .474
exh .498. inlet 30-78 ex 81-39

any advice most welcomed

Comp Polymers 5.0L Intake Powerbox

good or bad? no idea, i haven't used it and doubt ill ever get a chance,
but if anyone wants it, i will sell

yea, my thoughts exactly,
It actually claims to be better than the explorer manifolds
Hope they can back the up but ill give em omen thing, it does have huge a huge pelenum!

I'd use the RPM air-gap with that combo.
