I was talking to a Dude who owns a AU the other day, he said he has a piece of Stainless Steel in front of his Air intake to direct air into the intake.
Has any one else got one and does it work.

He said it hangs down between the grill and the radiator, the theory is that it catches the air going through the grill and directs it upward towards the intake.

Depending on how it is connected will determine what it does.

If it only directs then the advantage is that the motor will use the cool air and the rest will disburst.
If it is directly plumbed up he will feel a 'lag' and acceleration will be lessbut it will have more 'top end' and will be more responsive on the freeway.

My bro has a similar setup on his EL... couldn't notice it when it was put on, but when he took it off, you could see it made a small difference.
