meh wikipedia is a crock of s**t half the time. would be good to have a humping V8 like that though

tho really, we all hail the clevo which was a motor built for racing.. so, ideally we'd want ford aus to make a local engine plant and build that 5.0 cammer with its 420hp(so 314kw ish) at 6700rpm and 500ish newton metres at 5000rpm.

there is also rumours and an article in the latest wheels that ford will once again drop the v8. i hope not but between now and 2008, if the trend continues with fuel pricing and the decline in v8 sales continues it is a real possibility.

i really hope they dont drop the 8. whats more likely, is they'll stop building the "old" boss engine here, and import this "new" boss and bolt it in. something they can jus get already assembled, makes alot more sense than building something unique for such a small market.
