hey i have an eb xr8 and the motor runs ok but it has a slight knock on idle and when in park and you give it a good rev it lets off a little backfire through the throttle body but then revs up fine this is very annoying as it is the only problem i have left to get my r.w.c so ican get it regersted.

nah ive checked everything new rotor button, new distributer cap , new leads and plugs but still has slight miss on idle and the backfire when you rev it quick but after that it revs fine all through the rev range

just replaced the fuel filter and no change at all

im thinking maby bent exhaust valve on one side

if it has a slight knock you could have a bigend or crank problem
